Yes - The Romford Film Festival supports new and up and coming filmmakers. Entry fees for student Shorts submissions may be waived if the Festival receives a letter from a recognised School, College or University on headed paper verifying the entrant’s enrolment.
Yes - you can submit films that have previously been submitted or shown in other film festivals.
You can certainly submit multiple entries. But each film must be individually submitted and accompanied by its own completed online entry form.
We love foreign language films and accept submissions from all over the world however, will only be accepted into competition if they include English subtitles.
There is a Rommy Award for each and every film category which will be given out on the Closing Gala Awards Ceremony evening event on Sunday 8th October.

Yes – while the Romford Film Festival will not investigate clearances, we will also not be held responsible for any copyright enfringments. Should your film be accepted into the festival you must sign a waiver indicating all rights were legily obtained to the material in your film as stipulated in the festivals terms and conditions.
Unfortunately, no? We are a new Independent Film Festival with no funding whatsoever. That said, we have continued support by some of the most seasoned industry professionals and by way of company sponsorship.
Within 24 hours of completing and submitting your entry form, you will receive a confirmation email. If more than 24 hours has passed and you have not received a response, you must contact the Festival: email@example.com or call 07474 729 491.
The Romford Film Festival jury are made up of some of the industries most prominent representatives from the world of cinema. If you are not selected into competition, then unfortunately we cannot offer any refunds.
To attend the festival, we offer two accreditation options one of which MUST be selected.
a) The Mercury (Silver) Festival Accreditation allows access to all screenings for the three-day event. (£30)
b) The Premier (Purple) VIP Festival Accreditation allows access to all screenings; VIP Opening Press Call to include champagne and canapés; the Closing Gala Awards Ceremony followed by the After-party to include drinks and gourmet buffet. (£70)
